Short easy run today few things we saw on the way, beautiful cove point lighthouse on land, with high dirt cliffs for background. I absolutely love lighthouses have lots of pictures of them. Also, at Cove point was a Long Terminal quite a ways out into the Chesapeake which is a Coast Guard center just guessing we thought about 300 feet long. Took pictures so hope you can see them. Our run today is 42 miles which took us 2 1/4 hours to Cambridge yacht basin. Got the bikes out took a ride around town and on the way back I saw the Cambridge yacht club so we stopped into their tiki bar and had a drink. They are reciprocal with other yacht clubs, or we would not have been turned away. I got to talking with a gal that is a member. Very nice group of people to chat with. So interested in the conversation we got up and the bartender had to come after us before we took off because we forgot to pay the bill. I was quite embarrassed. I guess maybe in my case I am so used to the Sarasota yacht club as I don’t have to sign the check. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it. Would you believe Cambridge still has cobblestone streets? Oh my they’re not good on a bike. I stayed in and had a half sandwich. I have eaten before. Don’t feel like going out for dinner tonight. I am getting caught up on Suits the miniseries I’ve been watching. I will be very sad to see the last episode as I really enjoy it.
